The information available to me as a PICE credit group member has saved me hundreds of thousands of dollars in bad debt.
Before joining PICE, the only information I had to base credit decisions on was a credit report and the references supplied by the customer. Now I have an endless supply of industry specific payment information from both printers and paper houses.
The information and the relationship I have with other PICE members is invaluable. When I first joined PICE, I used their database to look up a few customers that were giving me serious problems. I found that two of them had long histories of serious payment problems with other PICE members. I remember thinking, "I wish I would have joined sooner!"

- an easy to use website that houses tons of payment histories on customers; allows you to send email Flash Reports to members the minute something happens that effects a customer's financial standing; and, provides useful links to many credit/collection/legal websites
- endless opportunities to network with fellow members
- top-notch educational programs and webinars
The cost of PICE membership pays for itself time and time again. Even if I avoid just one bad debt per year, we're talking about a 5 or 6 figure reduction in write-offs.
PICE is an organization that is constantly evolving. In my opinion, one day it will be the one-stop shop for the entire graphic arts industry.
